Wellington is located in the Cape Winelands, approximately an hour’s drive from Cape Town and Cape Town International Airport. Kleinevalleij Estate is situated just outside the town, along Bainskloof Road.For guests flying in, Cape Town International Airport (CPT) is the closest major airport. We recommend either hiring a car or arranging a private transfer in advance.​A rental car is a good option if you’re planning to explore the Winelands during your stay, while a pre-booked transfer may be more convenient if you’d prefer not to drive.If you're travelling with other guests, we’d also recommend coordinating your arrival times and sharing a transfer where possible.

Wellington and the surrounding Winelands are best explored by car. If you’re planning on sightseeing, visiting nearby wine farms or spending some extra time in the area, having your own vehicle will give you the most flexibility.​Uber is a great option for those who don’t have their own vehicle.​Shuttle services will be provided for the Friday evening, Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday morning to and from select accommodation. Please indicate on your RSVP if you’re interested in a shuttle service to the wedding weekend and back to Cape Town.We’re planning for the shuttle to depart Cape Town (likely from the Green Point area) at approximately 10am and head to Babylonstoren , one of our favourite destinations in the Cape Winelands. There will be time for your own exploration, wine-tasting and lunch (all on own account) before we transfer to the various accommodation venues in Wellington at around 2pm. The return shuttle on Sunday 4th will depart after the Farewell Brunch at 12.45pm, arriving back in Cape Town at approximately 1.45pm. Pricing will be subject to the final head-count, and full details will be shared with those who are interested closer to the wedding.​
