JOIN US FOR A WEEKEND OF CELEBRATION

2-4 APRIL 2027 | WELLINGTON, SOUTH AFRICA

There is a particular kind of light that settles over the Cape Winelands in late summer: golden, unhurried - the kind that makes mountains look closer than they are and turns a glass of wine into something worth lingering over. It is in this light, among vineyards and mountains and the quiet company of the people who matter most, that we are gathering to celebrate.

A few days to slow down, raise a glass, and to have the people who have shaped our lives gathered in one place. We are so glad you'll be here for it.

THE VENUE

KLEINEVALLEIJ ESTATE, WELLINGTON

Wellington is one of the Cape's oldest wine towns, settled by French Huguenots generations ago and still shaped by the land they farmed, with rolling vineyards, orchards, and olive groves stretching out beneath the Hawequa Mountains and the Berg River tracing the valley's edge. It's a place that rewards slowing down: quiet dirt roads, Cape Dutch homesteads, and a stillness that's hard to find anywhere else.

Kleinevalleij sits right in the middle of it, about an hour from Cape Town, rolling vineyards in front, mountains behind, and an understated elegance that never tries too hard. We chose it for exactly that: a place with real history and real beauty, where the setting does the work and everyone can simply be together.

we look forward to celebrating with you

OUR JOURNEY

Just over ten years ago, the two of us, who on paper couldn't be more different, met in Cape Town. Little did we know that our first three dates would be the beginning of the rest of our lives.

After a year of long-distance dating and the accumulation of many air-miles, we decided to take things five steps further and moved in together, making Cape Town our home. That move laid the foundation for an incredible journey. We grew individually and as a couple, and we explored the world - whether on holiday, visiting friends and family scattered across the globe, or spending a little over two years in Germany.

Along the way we built homes, literally and figuratively, and welcomed our fur-babies, Ruby and Amber, into the family. Then came our latest, greatest adventure: becoming fathers to our wonderful daughter Amalia.

It has been an incredible ride, and through all the ups and downs, we can't wait to see what this rollercoaster of life has in store for us.
